Rheingrover has completed the "Seasons of Life" series of seven bronze sculptures. These emotionally moving pieces represent a devoted two years of work in her studio, and are just the beginning of the commitment she has made to recreate them in a massive scale in Carrarra statuario marble. These pieces visited our gallery and are now in the artist's collection. Please inquire for information regarding their availablity.
Along with the bronze sculptures, a series of five acrylic paintings on canvas help to complete the expressions of Rheingrover's "intense visual experience of light and energy". We are pleased to introduce images of these as well as the bronzes here on this page.
To commemorate the introduction of this series, Rheingrover has also timed the publication of her long-awaited book. We have signed copies here in the gallery. The color photographs of her new series are wonderful, and the intimate link between Rheingrover and her stone carving is very evident throughout the book. Included are photographs of many of her stone sculptures, a brief biography, her descriptions of what the bronze pieces mean to her, and a chapter on the art of carving.
