The Funky Chicken Art Project has a garden space designed and laid out specifically for herbs with a theme of "Peace". The paths of this new expansion form a large peace sign. A barren start is pictured to the right.

This area in the gardens has already proven to be a very arromatic and gentle place with installations from contributing artists with a theme of "peace". We welcome new additions.

"Time Passage" by Virginia Bullman and LaNelle Davis has been installed as the entrance to the Garden of Peace. The concrete and mosaic angels facing each other with outstretched arms look as if they have always belonged there. These pictures were taken August 8, l999. The Garden has grown a bit.

I am sorry the sculpture to the left is hard to see in this picture. Charlie Seagraves is the artist. It is called "Peace of my heart" and stands approximately seven feet tall. It is a simple rod coming out of the ground with an inverted heart at the top with a dove flying out of the top.

The installations change as often as we can, and we welcome visitors. We tried to create a four season garden, but in our climate, the spring, summer and fall are more colorful and comfortable. We'll post more pictures when installations change.
