Map to the Funky Chicken Art Project FROM ATLANTA: Hwy 400 North past the Cumming Exit to the intersection of highway 53 (about 30 miles from Hwy 285 & 400). You will see McDonald's & Ingles shopping center on the left at this light (it is past the Outlet Mall). Turn left onto Hwy 53. Drive about 6 miles until the road dead ends into Dawsonville. Turn left and go about 50 yards. The old brick courthouse will be directly in front of you and a brick building with glass windows, "The Finish Line Restaurant", on your right. Do not pass the courthouse. Turn right at that side road (Shoal Creek Road). Go about 3 miles to a stop sign with a grave yard across the road. This is Hwy 136. Turn left.

Continue about 3 miles again to a small intersection and turn right onto Bailey Waters Road. (There will NOT be a stop sign at this intersection, but it is just past mile marker #12). If you pass a billboard for "S&W Superette" you just passed the intersection! Go about 3 miles again to a stop sign at Hwy 52. Continue straight across to Wesley Chapel Rd. We are 1 mile on the left, just before the Forrest Hills Resort turnoff. -->

FROM DAHLONEGA: We are 14 miles outside of Dahlonega toward Ellijay and Amicalola Falls. Take Hwy 9 and Hwy 52 West (same road) out of Dahlonega (after about four miles you will turn right following Hwy 52 West following the signs to Amicalola State Park). Continue 7 to 8 miles further after turning off of Hwy 9, and turn right onto Wesley Chapel Road. We are 1 and 1/2 miles on the right, just past the Forrest Hills Resort turnoff.

FROM AMICALOLA FALLS STATE PARK: As you exit the park, turn left onto HWY 52 going towards Dahlonega. In approximately 4 miles you will come to a cross roads with Bailey Waters Road on your right and Wesley Chapel Road on your left. Turn left onto Wesley Chapel Road and The Funky Chicken Art Project is 1 mile up the road on your left.
