Gary Caldwell has always been attracted to steel. Completely self-taught, he has mastered his
craft in stainless steel, researching each creation for anatomic accuracy. His butterflies, and
fish are torched into their shape with 6000-degree heat and bent, grinded and then torched again
to bring out the cobalt blue, bronze, and black surface colors.
This page was updated October 19, 2007. I just received two trees that are pictured and a dozen of his small butterflies on October 10th, 2007!
I can special order pieces from Gary to be shipped directly from his studio to you. Please call if I can help you.
